Our Purpose
The Arabian Riders and Breeders of Northwest Arkansas (ARAB) was established with the mission of serving the Arabian breed and the Arabian horse community of Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region.
To accomplish this goal, the organization will:
Preserve, protect, and perpetuate the Arabian breed.
Aid and encourage the riding, breeding, raising, and exhibiting of purebred and part-bred Arabian horses.
Promote, encourage, and stimulate popular interest in the outstanding qualities of the Arabian horse, both purebred and part-bred.
Provide an organization through which people with this common interest can socialize.
Allow interested people to affiliate with AHA (Arabian Horse Association).
Our Mission
It is the goal of ARAB that this organization shall not be used to promote any individual, member, barn, breeder, trainer, or horse.
The intent of ARAB is that the promotion of the Arabian breed shall be accomplished through emphasis on our youth and family participation.
It is the intent of ARAB that through educational programs and by example that our youth mature, not into just accomplished riders, but skilled horsemen and horsewomen.
It is our goal that this growth in knowledge, skill, and sportsmanship be a part of the fun-filled, family-oriented activities of ARAB and be reflected in our youth; all champions, whether or not they are making the victory pass.
It is not necessary that you own a purebred or part-bred Arabian to be part of our horse family; just be an admirer of this wonderful, beautiful creature.
If the goals of this organization appeal to you, we invite you to become a member of our ARAB family; to join us in enjoying and promoting this horse who has beauty, brilliance, fire, personality, disposition; a very special family horse... THE ARABIAN. Come to our next monthly meeting - the third Thursday of the month at Jim's Razorback Pizza on Martin Luther King Blvd, in Fayetteville, or to our next show, or send us an email.
